Ana Hernandez, CMA

Ana Hernandez is the Medical Specialist for West Ridge Academy. She is a Registered Medical Assistant, CMA and manages all medical-related tasks and patient care. She recognizes the issues her patients face is both unique and complex. Ana has over a decade of experience in the medical field.

Ana supervises Medication Management and engages with patients and caregivers to create a complete and accurate medication care plan. She measures vital signs, provides medical dressing, conducts tests and procedures, sterilizes instruments, and in short, she practices the five rights of medication use: the right patient, the right drug, the right time, the right dose, and the right route.

Ana enjoys working with the kids and trying to help them out as much as possible. She is recognized on campus as dependable, capable, professional and personable with every one of her patients.

Ana is a full-time mom and says that during her free time she enjoys watching movies and eating fried ice cream with her family.
