Sam Liechty teaches the math and chemistry classes here at West Ridge Academy’s High School. Sam earned his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and has enjoyed tutoring and teaching students for the last three years.

Sam says, “Working here has opened my eyes to the difficulties students can face and the challenges some people have to overcome, but seeing the students face these challenges head on and work through them is an inspiration.”

In his spare time, Sam enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and cooking. He is also a self-proclaimed “huge nerd,” because he likes spending time playing video games and playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends.
